Muscular build from years of lifting, though definitely need to lose about 40lbs
Been on TRT for about a year and a half, weight has remained pretty much the same throughout. My question is...
My first set of labs, 12 weeks after I started TRT:
11mg daily 5/16"...
Thank you! My thyroid was checked and everything looked great, there...
I'm assuming at my age, trying to raise my #s naturally would be a waste of time and putting off the inevitable?
I'm starting my TRT either tonight or tomorrow morning... what is your typical daily dose, and how do you feel/what are your #s for TT/FT/E2? Do you prefer to take your shot in the morning or night, or does it not matter much?
Thanks!
I agree with Sides on this! I cut out caffeine almost 5 years ago, and it's helped a lot! I also cut out all artificial sweeteners and try to avoid MSG, and both have helped. I haven't had alcohol in about 6 years. Decided that feeling good was more important than those things!
Everyone is different, I know... but I had bad panic disorder off and on since I was a kid...went away for a while, but came back so bad when I was about 30, that I couldn't even leave my home at times...
I've taken daily Klonopin for about 8 years, now...I've successfully weaned off for a year...
First off, thanks for taking the time for such a sincere response! After spending a lot of time going back and forth on this, i did decide not long after my first post to MAKE myself get up and start doing all of the things i need to do, to exhaust all other options before ever taking a shot for...
I definitely agree, i'm not trying to get my T to any specific/"magic" number, just want it high enough to feel my best and not be at risk for any of the "Low T" health issues. But at the same time, if anyone sees anything i'm leaving out that they think i could add to help things along, i'm...
Just a follow up... My labs that i posted at the beginning of this thread, were drawn on 4-02-19...
Since 4/2, i have lost about 12 lbs and still trending downward... have been taking 3,500 I.U. of D3 (just from supplements, not counting my food), a whole food multi-vitamin, walking throughout...
TO Silversurfer: I didnt say that if i couldnt raise them naturally i wouldnt try. I'm saying i would prefer to do it naturally but if not, i would use the TRT.
I think the part you missed is that i'm a single dad who has my daughter 50% of the time and she just turned 16 months old...
Just pulled my bloodwork from this time last year to compare:
Free T 73 pg/ml
Total T 363 nd/dl
SHBG 27
Free % 2%
Estradiol 29 pg/ml
My SHBG actually went down to 24 with my new bloodwork (TT 253).
I might add, one of the main reasons that i have not started TRT even though my doctor gave...
Sorry for any misunderstanding, but I'm not trying to "prove" that I need TRT...my doctor has already prescribed it and it's been sitting in my cabinet for the past year, untouched.
My reason for this thread is that I would rather do it naturally if I can, but honestly dont KNOW if I can get...
I'm not up to speed on the ratios and what they all mean...and never really knew what the SHBG range was, to be honest. I've had tests ran a few different times...on most of my labs the past few years, I've been right at 2% free T...and as my TT has gone down, so has my SHBG... it was 31 when my...
I guess my doubts/concerns are just that from 253 to 527, I've dropped so far down... not sure what's a realistic expectation on how far/fast I can do this?
How I feel:
Lack of motivation, low energy, low sex drive...can get it up though, but sometimes takes stimulation.
Mood is fine, no depression.
I asked because I agree that I could probably boost my #s n get back to how I felt before, with getting in better shape and following a good diet/...
I will try to keep this short and to the point, looking for opinions...
Have had bloodwork done recently and everything looks good, except:
Total T = 253
Vitamin D = 24
Vitamin B12 = 226
(Free T is obviously low, also, but is 2.3% of total)...
