Just curious, what does the “ball pain” feel like as they’re growing? Is it like a pressure? Or like the lingering pain you get a few minutes after someone hits you on the balls?
(I know, there’s a lot of potential jokes there, but it’s a serious question!)
I recently had a consultation with Defy. It went great! The doc listened carefully. I was amazed at how well he knew my medical history. I like the treatment recommendations but the meds are definetely expensive, like $150 for hcg.
So I'm wondering... does anyone have current discount codes /...
I’m so jealous of your response to TRT! That’s awesome man! I wish I could come over and over like that…
Now, when I first started TRT+hcg years ago, I had a similar response (not quite as high as coming 8 times in a row, more like 2-3 and very high libido). That response decreased over time...
1,000 IUs each injection? Sounds kind of high. Does it raise your E levels at that dose?
Besides increased libido, what other positive effects do you notice?
I took it many years ago but don’t remember the dosage. I do remember it made my penis extra sensitive though, and it did increase...
I just got prescribed hcg at Defy. They explained there were rule changes around *compounded* hcg and for a few years nobody could produce it in compounded form in the US, but it's changing back soon. Meanwhile, there are other generic pharma brands available beyond just Pregnyl.
I haven't...
How long will it take for 500ius 2-3 times per week (if already in TRT) to kick in? What changes should I feel in my body or mood?
If it were to raise E levels, what symptoms would I feel? Water retention, low libido, increased ED, fatigue, etc.?
Quick update on my dosage. I experimented with breaking the 5mg tab in half and taking half in the morning and half at night. Tried it for 3 days. Didn't see a difference compared to taking just one whole tablet at night. Both worked amazingly well!!
Sorry for the excitement, but just wanted to throw it out there... I had my visit with Defy for a second opinion, and OMG, they were so knowledgeable!!! The doctor new all my medical history and labs almost by heart, and listened to all my concerns about drug interactions with diabetes. He had...
I forgot to mention - Cialis didn’t work 100% right away. Due to clomid killing my erections again, I requested viagra from my primary care doctor. He talked about the options and taking Cialis daily sounded easier. He started me at 2.5mg (which apparently is what he takes! he’s about my age)...
Interesting!! Then what the doctor told me about GainsWave makes sense in my case. I have diabetes and apparently that affects erections. GainsWave is supposed to cause damage to the penis so that it grows new and more capillaries thus increasing blood flow to it and helping reverse the effects...
No fasting - normal diet. However I had one allergic food reaction Tuesday which probably doesn’t help. Other than the allergic reaction and androgel change, I can’t think of any other recent changes.
Random question… would getting higher/optimal testosterone levels have an effect on blood glucose and/or insulin sensitivity?
This maybe a total coincidence, but I stopped clomid and restarted androgel. About a week into it, I’ve been getting some hypoglycemic episodes (I wear a dexcom cgm and...
I didn't get a whole gainswave treatment, only 2 combined with PRP but I would say it made a difference at least in morning wood. However, it didn't come even close to taking daily cialis. Ever since starting daily cialis, and going from 2.5mg to 5mg, I am now getting hard boners all day long...
If you get in touch with Defy, the new patient folks can answer all those questions for you before getting you scheduled for an appointment. They're very helpful.
You can also look for university medical centers near you, who often have some kind of fertility clinic.
I don't remember all the details. I just have an old email where I thanked Defy for working through the PA which saved me a ton of money. :)
I remember though that I already had sperm testing done by the endo who started me on TRT. He had me do the semen analysis twice, and both times it was...
I did for both, yes. I believe my insurance paid for them. I remember Defy submitted some kind of prior authorization paperwork to get them approved (for a small fee).
“Mostly” != 100%.
But you’re right, should have said “many” instead of “mostly.” The point is, take supplements with a grain of salt and look for independent clinical studies that back them up. And consult with your doctor!!
When we had kids, I was on a lower dose TRT but Defy put me on hcg+hmg as well. Within a month and a half of starting those injections, my wofe got pregnant with our first child (of course we didn’t know it right away but the doctor figured out the conception month based on ultrasound. Repeated...
Mostly a scam. Most supplements don’t even have the ingredients listed (unless certified by a trusted body/process like NSF, GMP etc.). Even when they do have the ingredients listed at the concentrations listed, there is little to no clinical backing to their effectiveness.
If you’re concerned...
Since I was already on 2.5mg, that could be why the 5mg kicked in so quickly.
Man, if it takes a few weeks for full effect, then I guess I have a lot of good things to look forward to!
Thank you everyone here for your advice. Much appreciated!
