I can certainly attest to this in my situation. I've been on TRT over a decade and I have absolutely zero libido no matter what I have tried. This problem began 5-6 years into treatment and has only gotten worse with time. This seems to be a very common issue with long term suppression.

Yeah I’m not sure what’s causing it. It’s did it twice now when I use the Xyosted injectors. I’ve been using cypionate for 8.5 of the more than ten years I’ve been on trt. Even with higher dose cypionate my hematocrit hardly ever got above 48%.

For me using nearly identical doses of cypionate IM versus enenathe subq my ldl has risen nearly 40 points and my my hematocrit has risen 5 points. Both injected once weekly and I have the labs to prove it. Also my test level is 150ng lower.

I’ve did IM for over 8 years and just wanted to see how it would go with subq. Might go back.

I second what fifty said the human body produces 4-7 mg is testosterone per day which equates to 40-70mg of an ester like cypionate. I think you’ll feel much better by lowering the dose. Good luck

Yeah I think I’d do the same. I’d be a mess at that dose lol.

That’s a hefty starting dose. I’ve been on trt over a decade and use less than half of what you’re using. Some guys like myself can not tolerate doses that high.

Has anyone noticed their LDL and hematocrit rise after switching to subcutaneous injections? My LDL increased by 30 points and my hematocrit increased from 47 to 52. It’s the same dose but enanthate rather than cypionate. Also my trough t level is 150ng lower than IM injections.

150mg is a large dose to start with for starters. It should have more like 80-100mg. There’s guys like myself that feel good at 60mg per week. You should talk to your doc about lowering your dose substantially.

Try lowering the dose. I have complete Ed with a dose that high. Too much can be as bad as too little unfortunately.
