Idiots will tell you AIs are bad for you

I am a low-dose AI user, recently switching to 12.5 mg of Aromisin from .25 mg Arimidex per week. I could never control estrogen on Arimidex. It was either too high - like E2 the 70s, or it would crash to single digits. Aromasin keeps my E2 at around 30. Without any AI my E2 winds up being at...

Who Started TRT w/ "Normal" Levels @ What Age?

I was late 40s with a total testosterone of 425 ng/dl and a free T of 6.9. With your levels, I would recommend waiting a bit if possible. I tried the Clomid route and it jacked my Testosterone up to 900 and then a month later I was back to 425 again.

Solution to infamous high HCT low ferritin dilemma

I just had a consultation with my primary care physician and asked him about the ferritin. His advice was similar to some of what was in the videos and what I have seen elsewhere - if the hemoglobin and red blood cell count is normal and you’re feeling generally OK don’t even worry about Ferritin.

Solution to infamous high HCT low ferritin dilemma

Correct the 20 mg EOD comes out to 70 per week. At one point I had it up to 110 which provided even better relief but I am trying to keep HCT in check

Solution to infamous high HCT low ferritin dilemma

There have been studies which show that it does much more than simply masking pain. One of the benefits of Deca is that it dramatically reduces inflammation of the joints and tendons. Lower inflammation is the primary cause of the relief. However, once you come off, the inflammation does come...

Solution to infamous high HCT low ferritin dilemma

Libido always goes down a bit on Deca - however I’m willing to trade that for decreased joint pain. Off Deca, my rotator cuff injury and other joint issues rage on and I have to change my entire weightlifting routine. On Deca - I’m doing one arm overhead kettlebell presses with 65lbs with no...

Solution to infamous high HCT low ferritin dilemma

Here’s my latest,,, two month this ago I had ferritin tested about a month after donating and it was 11. I have always struggled with high hct as well as estradiol so my TRT doc suggested lowering the Test dose, which I did. this test had me at total test of 930, free T at 192 and hct at 48.4...

High hematocrit , low ferritin . What to treat first ?

I would lower Testosterone to 75-80 mg /week in a 2-3 day per week dosing schedule (eg 25 mg eod, or 40 mg 2x per week) to lower HCT while you build up ferritin. I am in the same boat as you except my ferritin levels were in the single digits in a month after giving blood. I tried the ferritin...

    Can't sleep

I have had a major breakthrough in sleep quality by simply adding Ipamorelin / Cjc1295 to the mix. I am using the Defy / empower brand at 5mg/9mg bottle which I reconstituted with 6 MLs. I take .125 MLs nightly along with melatonin right before bed. The quality of sleep and dream state is...

    Ipamorelin Dosage Discussion

Yes. Only Semorelin, to my knowledge, has some desensitization effects. Cjc /Ipamorelin can be run long term. So can MK677.

    Nandrolone Experiences

How is it going? My current thoughts on Nandralone for guys who have issues adding it to TRT may be related to overall drop in SHGB which frees more Testosterone and can throw T/E out of balance. One approach to Nandralone/ TRT is to lower the Testosterone amount - maybe 20-30% while keeping...

Is it possible to become reliant on Citrulline if you take it to improve erection strength?

Sorry I meant “effect” not defect in the first sentence. I have to stop using Siri to dictate these responses :-)

Is it possible to become reliant on Citrulline if you take it to improve erection strength?

It wouldn’t have that type of defect in the way that you described it. However, coming off of the amino acid you may notice a decrease in performance because you were not getting that edge. It’s kind of like asking if you stopped taking caffeine, would there be a permanent loss in athletic...

    Ideal TT for longevity?

I wouldn’t put any faith in that study. Look at the range: 300 ng/dL total testosterone is what you see in 90 year old men. (Which supports the theory in some degree but you have to probe deeper and ask - Do I want to be that 90 year old skinny weak man?). It reminds me of a study I read where...

My Hct Dropped on SubQ EOD protocol!

Vince can you let us know how many MG/day and your lab values please? I am curious because I need to raise ferritin while also dealing with HCT that rises rapidly so thinking ED dosing might be the answer.

    Low iron and iron saturation

I need to do this. My latest labs shows a ferritin score of 11 (range 38-380) with hemoglobin of 15.8 and HCT 48.8. This is exactly one month after donating blood. I also only take .46 mg of Testosterone every 3 days. I need to get iron up w/o spiking HCT.

    Hpta recovery unsuccessful

I’m just jumping in to confirm with the other members posted about the benefits of TTR. No offense man, but your doctors friends are a bunch of freaking morons and practicing 50 year old medicine. Trust me I went through the same challenges when I went on TRT a few years back - I was mid-40s i’m...

Same here. I got a six month supply of two vials with the hope that there is a path through this by then.

Injection Site Question: Ventral Gluteal Muscle vs. Tensor Fascia Latae

I wouldn’t overthink this. I just stick it in the upper outer portion of my butt cheek alternating sides each shot. I barely feel it and my Total T is consistently around 800 ng/dL this way with less than 100mg / week. Just stick it wherever your arm reaches

    Can't sleep

I’ve also had the same thing for a period of years – which for me involved crashing early and falling asleep immediately, but then being wide awake with my mind racing about 2 o’clock in the morning. A lot of this was brought on by a long commute and a stressful job which I have since alleviated...

The FDA Ended Your Access to More Economical hCG and FSH

That’s what I was thinking as well – the problem is that I called several local pharmacies in my area and they said we can’t get it. I was hopeful because the Good RX coupon had 10,000 IUs for just over $100 – which technically is cheaper than what I was paying on an ML per ML basis at the...

Osteoarthritis and adding nandrolone to TRT

I’ll give you my two cents as a somewhat long-term user in that I have been running therapeutic doses on and off for the past two years or so as part of TRT but I’m on full time now. I had lots of osteoarthritis, mostly in my knees, as well as some degeneration of tendons in my shoulder. Along...

Defy is selling Ibutamoren (MK-677) - anybody try it yet?

It would give the same results. I am taking 12.5 mg now two days on one day off. If I switch to 25 mg I would definitely go once every other day or possibly once every three days and assess from there. Sleep and tendon relief can definitely be achieved with the lower dose and / or an...

    Double Red Cell Donation

Well first of all I’m not a doctor but I would be looking out for the platelet count of anything towards the upper end of that range and if I hit that or came within 400 or more I will give blood immediately. For what it’s worth I typically have high HCT but my platelet count is still in the...

Can I stop TRT and just switch to HCG+FSH for a few months (and be done w/TRT etc for good) instead of taking SERMS?

You can definitely do what you are proposing but you should research restart protocols a little bit more carefully. I think your hCG dose is a little bit high. Maybe try something like 250 to 300 every other day for a few weeks, then add the Clomid at the dose you mentioned above: 25 mg every...

    Double Red Cell Donation

Hematocrit by itself is not an accurate score to predict risk of blood thickening. Basically any athlete training at high altitude, like in Colorado, will have high hematocrit. What you want to watch out for is the high platelet count to go along with it. Unfortunately most doctors do not...

Protocols for Tendon Healing HGH TB 500 BPC 157

I’ve only tried the BPC and it worked wonders for me I pinned about 500 MCG daily for three weeks very close to the injured tendons. I made a post about this. Beyond that you couldn’t go wrong with adding some nandrolone, if you can get your hands or at a minimum MK 677 or some other type...

About to Start TRT Opinions on My Prescription

I would say that your Testosterone levels are horribly low and that’s why you feel like crap. If you were to go down this route I would start testosterone at 100 mg/week -split into two doses -add HCG 250-300 IU 2x week with the shots. As far as an AI goes - it’s highly debated - but personally...

    Nandrolone Experiences

Exactly. It’s kind of like discussing HCG - some men do great on it and others hate it. If someone has joint issues I don’t see the harm in adding 50-80 mg nandralone to their protocol for 2 months to see how they feel. I love the stuff - joint relieve plus a little bit of an anabolic boost with...

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) Decreases Ferritin

This is interesting. I would assume those of who frequently give blood on TRT to manage hematocrit are particularly vulnerable to low ferritin.
