Guys who didn't like HCG but now use a lower dose...

What sort of dose are you on? I started on 300iu 3x weekly and I felt like I drank 17 cups of coffee and my BP was going to make my fingers pop off. Wasn't too pleasant. I have some unresolved issues on T cyp alone, and want to remain fertile, so I've considered trying HCG alone at a lower dose.

Help choosing a TRT doctor - Defy vs Dr Rotman

Put bluntly, it feels like a business. Which I know it is, and they have to make money. But Dr Saya has a very different attitude than some of the office folks there - in a good way.

Help choosing a TRT doctor - Defy vs Dr Rotman

I saw this actually! Thanks Vince. This was the tipping point in booking an appointment to see him.

TRT doesn't work. According to this woman

The irony of all this is that they are willing to dish out steroids for everything else. Different drugs, but still.

I actually tried this and it sent my iron too high! But good suggestion.

Help choosing a TRT doctor - Defy vs Dr Rotman

Looking for a little bit of opinion here. I'm currently a patient of Dr Saya and have had a really great experience so far. Someone close to me insisted that I get a second opinion from a local doctor I can meet with in person, and I'm not opposed to seeing someone that my insurance would pay...

Difference between honeymoon and not enough T?

Hoping to get one - I don't think I need to be one of those guys with a TT of nearly 2k (and the side effects that must come later on from it), but I just want to feel my best. Also don't want to start acting like my roid rage landlord lol.

Difference between honeymoon and not enough T?

Wow, this actually clearly a lot up! Thanks man. I will admit at times I do have dreams of being superman, but I'm trying to be realistic. I'd ideally just like to eliminate my need for Cialis, restore my libido so I'd want sex 1-2x day (not per week), have enough energy to not feel like I need...

Difference between honeymoon and not enough T?

While the honeymoon period was “fun” for me, it didn’t feel natural at all. Felt like I was on drugs most of the time, and wasn’t sustainable. But after that I enjoyed a short while that get much more natural but has since passed presumably as my body shit down natural production. Is that...

Latest bloodwork in, E2 fixed, still feel awful

Roughly 22mg daily. I fill the syringe to the 11 mark and go.

Latest bloodwork in, E2 fixed, still feel awful

Thanks Joe. I’m going to bump up my next consultation a little bit I think and see if Dr Saya thinks we should adjust it then. Until then leaving it alone.

Latest bloodwork in, E2 fixed, still feel awful

Hey guys, about a month ago I crashed my E2 and felt awful, as expected. I've stuck to my Defy prescribed 150mg T cyp every week since, without an AI, and without any other "experiments." Well, I still don't have much in terms of libido, and I just feel all in all worse off than when I started...

How long till levels reach optimum?

Basically the same thing Dr Saya told me, and I appreciated the honesty. Also made me feel like I'm working with someone who has seen it not go well, and would know what to do or when to pull the plug. Prior to TRT I had endos try me on cabergoline 5x and they refused to give up or try...

Questions for men on anastrozole who have crashed their E2 Levels

I knocked mine down to 12 recently by messing with AIs the whole first month or so on TRT. I felt worse and worse. Before TRT, I did try internet-sourced enclomiphene, and at the time, found another guy who tried some too and everyone thought it was an AI. Who knows. But my endo then checked my...

    Cialis effect on estrogen

Speculation is all I'd say it is at this point, but I've noticed it a few times now. The erections with Cialis have definitely gotten better over the past few weeks though.

    Cialis effect on estrogen

I've been recovering from crashing my E2 2 weeks ago, and obviously while I can't really get an erection like normal, I reach for the Cialis to get me by. Not a big deal, except I've noticed it seems to make me feel like crap (sore muscles, low energy, poor mood) about a day after taking it, and...

Need help with sleep management on TRT

Been struggling with this for a while myself, and was part of the reason I wanted to start TRT. After years of trying to fix my sleep, nothing helped. Unfortunately, it's been rough lately too. But I have been overeating before bed, and recently quit smoking. I know that a tolerance develops to...

Having trouble fighting off depression ~8 weeks in, suggestions?

Agreed that it's only one piece of the puzzle. I do tend to forget this at times. However, during the honeymoon period and even just before I started messing around with my protocol, I did consistently notice a lot of improvements mentally that gave me that much better foundation to work with...

Having trouble fighting off depression ~8 weeks in, suggestions?

Exactly what I'm doing right now, and keeping on for the next several weeks until it settles this time! And definitely no more AI. There's just no point.

Having trouble fighting off depression ~8 weeks in, suggestions?

Why do you say that? I do agree on the AI part though. I was thinking it might be the opposite...once I dropped to 100mg, within a couple of weeks I was already down to a TT of 527. I forget the exact half life calculation, but that number should have dropped more if I'd stayed at 100mg for...

Having trouble fighting off depression ~8 weeks in, suggestions?

Thanks Joe. Actually doing every day injections. Any disadvantage to that besides inconvenience? Defy actually called today to remind me of some upcoming dates, and my next bloodwork is in exactly a month. So a perfect 6-7 weeks on this dosing. I have zero interest in taking an AI if I can...

Having trouble fighting off depression ~8 weeks in, suggestions?

Thanks Vince. Are there any advantages to fewer injections, besides convenience? My logic was that I can better mitigate high E2, and possibly run more T by increasing injection frequency (even if I don't really have to).

Having trouble fighting off depression ~8 weeks in, suggestions?

Appreciate the input. Sorry if I came off as feeling sorry for myself, I'm not expecting TRT to fix everything, but I've started to grow a little concerned just because so many of these issues are new to me. I felt much more like taking life by the horns before TRT, to put it one way. Next...

Having trouble fighting off depression ~8 weeks in, suggestions?

I’ve considered it and tried HCG again after but it always seems to make me anxious, jittery, and like I’m going to pop (don’t know if that’s from the BP increase or what). I’ve heard mixed things. I do think I’m calmer without it. I’ve looked around for what other guys like or don’t like about...

Having trouble fighting off depression ~8 weeks in, suggestions?

Thanks for your reply man. No HCG now. I inject daily (and have for over a month), and the labs were done in the morning before my injection. SHBG I haven't measured since TRT, but has always been around 40, sometimes closer to 50. I was considering getting some labs done early again just to...

Having trouble fighting off depression ~8 weeks in, suggestions?

Hey guys, rewrote this post to be easier to follow. Started on TRT in mid June to help with libido, erection, mood, confidence and energy issues I've had for years. I have a pituitary tumor and treatments relative to that had not been helpful at all. I "tried" TRT before this - that is, I was...
