Good T3 and Elevated Reverse T3

If you are taking thyroid pills- levothyroxine, NP Thyroid, armour, cytomel...The direct T3 portion will increase in a matter of days and come down in a matter of days due to short half life. The T4 will take up to a month or maybe longer due to longer half life. A portion of the T4 will...

Good T3 and Elevated Reverse T3

All times are accurate, but just offer different insights into levels at different times. Your peak will be approx 2hrs after ingesting. This is when Crisler always wanted patients to get BW drawn. I would think knowing your peak would be most valuable. But, being consistent in timing from draw...

High Estradiol in Men: How High is Too High?

How low was it? Dr. Mariano used to always say estrogen was responsible for sex drive. I may be taking liberties with his exact words, but he was never one to push for lowering it.

    Wonderings Journey

I really don't think my issue has anything to do with Testosterone or any hormone, but rather neurological/HPA related.

    Hair loss

You can't just look at DHT and assume its effect on hair is the same throughout ones lifetime. There are many things that change their effect on the human body as we age. I don't think anyone is saying DHT is the ONLY cause of hair loss, but it can be a contributing factor among many - genetic...

    Dr Edward Litchten treatment protocol

Why I miss Dr. Mariano on the boards. I wonder when his book will be coming out. His forum has been offline for a long time as well.

A benefit to sexual function and mood was not tied to this dose.

Requesting advice on problems in lab work

Dr. Crisler and Dr. Mariano both told me that their patients with low SHBG have increased anxiety compared to the patients that don't.

Requesting advice on problems in lab work

Did that change in protocol improve libido and ED or did you just feel less swings in energy/mood, etc.

Requesting advice on problems in lab work

I am one that needs his FT4 a little higher. If you are already taking Thyroid hormone, perhaps try 25mcg of Levothyroxine. Though your TSH being that low means your brain may be getting what it needs.

Any other LOW SHBG patients with success on the T-Cream Scrotum

Curious how long it will take to feel it. If this doesn' do it, Dr. Saya said he would consider a completely new protocol. Wonder what that might be. I imagine bringing HCG into the mix. But years ago, that didn't do much - may be time to try again.

Any other LOW SHBG patients with success on the T-Cream Scrotum

Wow, you're still seeing much better libido and less ED on the low of T Cream? I started 12.5mg to my T Cyp, will see if it helps at all.

    HCG Bloodwork

And adding HCG improved libido AND that specific amount increased libido noticeable over other amounts?

Anybody Else a Thyroid Med Non-Responder?

Or the ssri reduced stress levels giving his HPA a chance to recover. Cortisol is highly variable. Getting cut off in the parking lot on way to blood draw can affect it. It is moment to moment.
