    Initial reaction?

Thank you all. I’ve been considering a lower dose as I am unsure of the effects of exogenous T on the central nervous system and its effects on restful sleeping. Is it possible that my levels just don’t reach a bottom level at night where my body can just calm down and get deep sleep?

What are your thoughts on more frequent injections versus less injections?

    Initial reaction?

Thank you very much for the thorough reply. Been knocking around possible thyroid issues even though my TSH, T3 and T4 are in range. I had my ferritin and iron all checked along with all my essential vitamins and with the exception of vitamin D, which most people in New England are deficient in...

    Initial reaction?

Dude, come on. You are making suggestions but when I simply mention what I have seen in just anecdotal research, you come back with that comment? Provide me with what your experience may have been or information contrary to what I presented and let’s have a meaningful discussion as I an open to...

    Initial reaction?

It was my understanding that the more frequent injections it would actually increase SHGB?

    Initial reaction?

Just so I am clear, I should go back to twice weekly injections vs. the EOD?

    Initial reaction?

I didn’t feel well in Dec 2023. Been wrestling this for a few years now. There seems to be something with the low shgb and high free t. I feel like I need to increase my shgb somehow and I’m just not sure how to go about that.

    Initial reaction?

I’ve been following same injection protocol for at least 3 years. I’m injecting 70mg per week on an EOD injection schedule. Very routine time of day that I inject which is in the early morning. My bloods you see are 8 months old but my protocol has not changed one bit. These were taken at true...

    Initial reaction?

What would your initial reaction be to these levels at face value? I sleep 8-9 hours per night and am still tired all day. I have had thyroid checked (although I still think I may be hypothyroid), Iron, etc. I am feeling lower energy these days. I am 51 and been on TRT since 2020. Took a...

    Sleeping through night but...

Hello All, It has been some time since I posted. I appreciate all the knowledge and feedback from everyone. I am 50 years old and have been on TRT since January 2021. My current protocol is 70mg per week with eod injections. No HCG, NO AI. When I first started TRT at 150mg per week, I had...

Negative. Ibuprofen is the only regular medication.

Poor sleep / Reaching end of my rope

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed and thoughtful response. I did have my doctor run some vitamin tests (iron, B12,D etc.) and of course being from New England, I was well below on the Vitamin D scale so I started that a few months back. I eat fairly well but...

Poor sleep / Reaching end of my rope

Possibly. My routine is consistent where I do one body part per session and then 30 minutes of cardio. I only try to spend 1 hour in the gym. It is possible that is causing something but this all started after TRT.

Poor sleep / Reaching end of my rope

I go to the gym 7 days a week and am a cyclist and avid hiker. Been doing this for 30+ years. Exercise has been and always will be a priority for me especially after my back fusion.

I had a sleep study done already. No Apnea.

Poor sleep / Reaching end of my rope

I really feel like I have to come down even further with my dose. I’m going to skip and injection or two and see if I notice better sleep because I cannot continue like this. I’m tired most of the time and push through but it’s becoming unsustainable. Im going to drop to 70 mg per week and stay...

Poor sleep / Reaching end of my rope

Thyroid and adrenals are good. No other meds accept ibuprofen daily for my back. Yes, I use my phone in bed but that’s was no issue before TRT. I kicked my wife out of our bed because she is a kicker and flopper. Been sleeping in separate beds for over a year. This has something to do with...

Poor sleep / Reaching end of my rope

Do you think going to daily injections would help this at all? That’s a major pain but I’d be willing to try it. As it is now, I’m at 80 mg now.

Poor sleep / Reaching end of my rope

I track it every day with iPhone and sleep app. Deep sleep is usually between five and 15 minutes per night. Not to mention the way that I used to sleep before TRT and now after TRT.

Did a sleep study. No apnea found. Next.

Poor sleep / Reaching end of my rope

As the title states, I am reaching the end of my rope on my TRT because I simply cannot get into deep restful sleep. I have tried almost everything so don't bother with the laundry list of supplements, etc. My blood work is good, no thyroid issues, had key vitamins tested for deficiency, etc. I...

    PCT Protocol

Greetings All, I have made a decision to come off TRT after 17 months. I would prefer not to get into the long explanation of why as it would take me a week of writing. However, I would really appreciate any feedback on my PCT. Current TRT Protocol - 80 mg Testosterone (EOD injections) and...

PCT after 17 months of TRT

Hello All, Thank you all for being so open with your knowledge. This place has helped me and I am sure countless others. Please continue this mission. I have made a decision to come off TRT after 17 months. I would prefer not to get into the long explanation of why as it would take me a week...

    Poor Sleep

Thanks Novaman. I have needed sleep aides for years. When I started TRT they were exacerbated and I had multiple bouts of insomnia a few times a week. Until I had blood work done and dropped my dose down (super responder) I wasn't able to start getting to sleep. I am now dropping again to 80 mg...

    Poor Sleep

Thank you again. Since I inject 3 X per week, I can lower my weekly dose to 80mg starting this week and monitor how I am feeling for 6 weeks. Honestly, everything has been relatively great at 90 mg with the exception of the occasional bouts of insomnia but I do agree that I probably have some...

    Poor Sleep

I appreciate you replying. Yes, it was taken Monday morning before injection so that was trough. Not all of us have access to anything other than Labcorp which you correctly identified as the testing company. I definitely do not want to take AI long term and since the SHGB was not on my lab...

    Poor Sleep

Yes. I don't disagree with your assessment as I have considered that myself. I think I will adjust the dose before adding anything else to protocol.
