Adrenal fatigue: The best methods to increase cortisol naturally

FYI, at the moment I am off the cortisol completely (3 months now) and seem to be doing fine. Process of weaning was way easier than imagined. It seems that these years of cortisol replacement have somehow kickstarted my HPA again instead of suppressing HPA-function (as one would assume)

I had to use google translator: In most cases once immune sensitization happened it wil be forever (however, with peaks and troughs in immune activity). Surprisingly though, many people are able to have replacement just be temporary

My updated hormone protocol: Sex hormones (lowered my dosage): Testosterone cypionate (40mg subcutaneously 2x/week), HCG (125iu subQ 2x/week), FSH (50iu subQ 2x/week), anastrozole (0.25mg/week) (For more info on how I replace male sex hormones, click here.) Adrenals (same dosage): 20mg...

Adrenal fatigue: The best methods to increase cortisol naturally

Update: Another method for elevating cortisol that works well for many: CT3M. Waking up a few hours earlier and taking T3 (or NDT) and then going back to sleep. For some reason, this seems to work for many

In my experience, I personally and also many others I know, feel a lot better once they lower HCG -and in some cases even cut it out completely

i agree. Progesterone converts into allopregnanolone, which can lead to lethargy. Furthermore, progesterone directly decreases sex drive by acting at various nuclei in the hypothalamus

Many overfixate on testosterone -the thyroid is just as important

HC helps a lot of people. In fact, it is able to bring many people back to life when thyroid and testosterone are not able to. If I were you, I would split the HC into 4x 2.5mg Edit: However, I should add that cortisone acetate is much safer than HC, because of its interaction with HSD-II (it...

Thank you very much! Yes, it will take a few years then I will be a licensed practitioner and I can further educate the masses on the importance of hormones. Hormones are vastly underrated and can give many people their life back

Adrenal fatigue: The best methods to increase cortisol naturally

It is somewhat true, however I believe the effect is super low value bc if you are not directly staring into the sun (which you should not) then endogenous antioxidants should easily take care of the oxidative stress created by the occasional high-energy photon :)

Are guys that do well on low dose clomid unicorns...or do they really exist?

Tamoxifen is poison and neurotoxic, but unfortunately yes, it would be an alternative because the mechanism of action is similar

Well the most potent libido enhancer in the male brain is estradiol. However, both too high and too low levels annihilate activity in hypotahalmic networks regarding libido. I elaborate in it much more in my article in Section 4 -Sex drive: How To Replace Male Sex Hormones

Does Testosterone Replacement Affect the Thyroid?

Testosterone decreases TBG while E2 will increase TBG so it does affect levels of free thyroid hormones slightly

Are guys that do well on low dose clomid unicorns...or do they really exist?

In my opinion, clomid makes most males feel worse because of the way it interacts with ERs in the brain

No, damage comes from the UV-part (specifically all wavelengths below about 400nm). however, LEDs emit wavelengengths in a narrow blue-light range. No damage from that unless you are really close for a really long period of time

Yes, if your issue is vascular. However, for many people the issue is with libido (sex drive) and not nerve or blood vessel function. In the latter case, it is usually hormones

Many great points made. Time will tell whether I regret my decision, however, as of now it was the best decision of my life. Also, who knows whether the world will still exist once I am in my 50s? This connection holds true for only a subset of people with low levels of LDL, as thyroid hormones...

Yes. I think HIIT is great. Esp. for its neurogenic/cognitive effects as well as upregulating the expression of antioxidant systems due to the associated oxidative stress during peak activity

There is really no generic protocol. Thyroid is a good place to start- unless you have severe adrenal issues, then starting thyroid treatment is a recipe for disaster. To be better able to assist you I need much more details about you (e.g. RR, heart rate, body temperature, circadian patterns, etc.)

I am a final year med student and have been replacing my hormones for multiple years. I post this because I want to raise awareness that it is not just testosterone. One thing I frequently notice, is that many males are really fixating on testosterone (e.g. whether adding HCG or different doses...
