    Low Dose Nandrolone

Just to clarify, it's not atrophy. It's hypertrophy that's the concern. Left ventricular hypertrophy is GROWTH of the ventricle, whereas atrophy is SHRINKING of the ventricle. It's critical that people understand that some of the concerns with nandrolone have to do with hypertrophy, not atrophy.

    Low Dose Nandrolone

Yes, that’s exactly what I think. But don’t leave out the progesterone receptor! Both are really critical. I think both @Cataceous and @xqfq have had profound changes from using progesterone as part of their protocol, so it’s definitely worth keeping in mind how progesterone receptor agonist...

    Low Dose Nandrolone

For @Gman86 and @Sly, keep in mind that nandrolone has much different binding affinities at the progesterone and mineralocorticoid receptors than testosterone. In both cases nandrolone has higher binding affinities than testosterone does. Just be aware that nandrolone binds 20x more to the...

Times of Day for 4-Tube Cortisol Test?

What times during the day should I take the saliva samples? I have a kit from Labcorp but theirs is keyed for taking one sample a day, while I want to do 4 samples in one day. I'm not sure when during the day to take each sample.

LabCorp 4-Tube Saliva Cortisol-- ideal timing?

My primary care doc RXd some labs for me so my insurance would cover them. I will be sharing the results with Defy but am not sure I'm going to continue working with Defy (long story). One of them is the LabCorp 4-tube saliva cortisol test. I have the test kit, but it specifies doing it over...

    Nandrolone Experiences

Thanks @DS3 for mentioning my experience. I'm 5 weeks out from discontinuing nandrolone and still have not gotten back to normal. I also had sudden issues with my vision (eye floaters, etc) that began with nandrolone. They have gotten slightly better but not abated fully. In terms of heart rate...

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

No idea at all whether the Deca was responsible. I still have eye floaters and other issues that only started when I went on Deca, so I have no idea what caused what. I'm feeling super down/disappointed about this as my general health kinda sucks now versus a few months ago. Last week was so...

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

Another update. Have been off the diuretic for 10 days. Vascularity still has not returned. Sleep quality has completely tanked again. After a "honeymoon" period of good sleep and improved energy for about a week, I'm back bouncing around 0 to 20 minutes of deep sleep and feeling...

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

Another update for the sake of someone else's searches someday, since I wasn't getting a whole lot of interest on this thread: I'm 21 days out from the last nandrolone shot/returning to the T-only protocol I was on before. Sleep is dramatically better over the last week. Still some variation in...

Thinking of trying metformin with TRT

@dickielongate How are you doing now? It's been a few months. How's the weight loss? Blood work? To clarify, did you self-Rx the metformin and NDT or did a doctor give you the NDT? No judgment, just curious. Update us when you can please.

    AI use and sleep apnea

Continuing my updates here for anyone who's following along. Last injection of nandrolone was December On day 4 of hydrochlorothiazide. I'm not noticing much of a difference in abdominal bloating but my face does look slightly less bloated. I'm also taking anastrozole at 0.1mg EOD for now to...

Sleep Apnea: Why Does Testosterone Make it Worse?

As part of an unsuccessful recent experiment with my protocol (nandrolone added to testosterone), my sleep apnea appears to have gotten noticeably worse over a very short period of time. I haven't been treating my OSA since it's typically so mild if I sleep on my side. I'm wondering if anyone...

A neurostimulator may be the answer to people with sleep apnea who hate CPAP machines

@Nelson Vergel, did you ever settle on a sleep apnea treatment? Mine got worse on CPAP/APAP. I started having central events when my diagnosis was mild/subclinical OSA on my side and moderate on my back (<5 events per hour on side and <20 on back) and my sleep specialist told me (over a year...

    AI use and sleep apnea

You should always feel free to post your thoughts and experiences. The pendulum has indeed swung away from AI usage on forums and podcasts, but no one but you can know what works for your body. If using an AI helps you sleep better, then it's probably a great choice for you health-wise. What...

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

Thanks for the reply. :) I’m not currently taking magnesium but have plenty of it at home so I’ll probably start taking some along with 4g of fish oil daily. I have both the glycinate and citrate forms of magnesium on hand I had a symptom call with Defy today and the nurse called in an Rx for...

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

Couple of quick updates. I decided to go get a blood pressure monitor and a blood glucose meter to see if I can glean anything from that data about why I'm feeling the way I do. I've taken a few blood glucose readings before and after eating and insulin response seems normal. So that's good...

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

Well, another terrible night. Very elevated heart rate (spiked over 100bpm) that woke me up and kept me up for hours, 0 minutes of deep sleep again, felt way overheated and agitated. Similar to what I felt on the nandrolone. So if I put 2 + 2 together, my blood pressure probably is coming up as...

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

I did discuss that with the PA at Defy. He indicated that those effects are typical with higher doses and in men not taking exogenous testosterone. But it’s a moot point as I won’t be taking a potassium sparing diuretic after what happened today. Pretty freaky and the numbness hasn’t gone away...

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

Last night I got 25 mins of deep sleep according to my Oura ring, up from 4 mins the night before. For the weeks prior starting from 2 days in to my nandrolone trial I was getting 0 minutes of deep sleep. Prior to messing around with my protocol I was getting between 40-65 minutes of deep sleep...

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

I’ve had water retention and bloating for years. The PA suggested it could be related to excess aldosterone causing me to hold water. Since I had an unsuccessful trial with nandrolone and nandrolone has a 77% greater binding affinity for the mineralocorticoid receptor than testosterone, it was a...

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

I’m using this thread as a log and also a way for folks to learn more if possible. I tried spironolactone yesterday after Defy prescribed it. The goal was to see if the water retention I have struggled with for years responded to a diuretic, even though the PA thought it is likely due to E2 and...

Lab Results - Discussion of Free Estradiol

Has anyone been able to get more info on free estradiol? I just had a consult with Defy yesterday and we were discussing my relatively low SHBG (19.9 nmol/L, ref 16.5-55.9) on last test) and symptoms of high E2 (abdominal bloating/distension, constipation, water retention in face) and while my...

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

My recent TT/FT labs that had me top of the range when I was experimenting with nandrolone and testosterone enanthate are the ones I'm referencing. I was injecting the enanthate subcutaneously EOD like I have always injected test cypionate. Since the LC/MS/MS test I had done for my TT does not...

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

Yep. Agree that this is BS. I've been on for 8 years and have injected SubQ for 80+% of that time. Only thing that made a difference in my levels is how much I injected! My recent experience with test enanthate injected subq indicated it absorbs just fine, @Gman86

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

What is the concept behind enanthate not being suitable for subq administration? It's an esterified testosterone in oil. Defy RXed enanthate subq for me. Anyhow, I'm currently doing pharma cyp subq. And yes, I've done subq about 80% of the time. If I do IM it's only shallow IM with an insulin...

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

I had a consult at Defy today. A few interesting theories for what may be going on with me. First, nighttime RHR has been slowly normalizing. Sleep is still disastrously bad. Nandrolone can apparently decrease thyroid binding proteins, so the PA speculated that my levels of free thyroid...

New Protocol, Elevated RHR/Poor Sleep/Eye Floaters. Abort or Stay the Course?

If you consider that I went from being low across the board to top of the range/above the range on TT/FT over a short period while still having low-end SHBG, yeah, my body experienced some pretty rapid swings. I'm also pretty sensitive in general, and if my ferritin levels/iron stores were on...
