Is there any significant number of guys with a currently useful protocol using commercial gel as opposed to what seems to be the more widely prevalent 20% compounded cream? Is the absorption of gel the same as cream? It would seem to me they may have different absorption factors.

FWIW, I tried supplementing with boron while taking clomiphene and it made no difference in SHBG or libido. It would be interesting to see enclomiphene gain some traction and see if any sustainable good results.

The rise in SHBG and therefore lowering of Free T was one of the most frustrating aspects of using clomiphene for me. So close with Total T but yet so far away with Free T.

Empty topi-click weighs approx. 42g give or take a half gram, so full it should weigh 72g. When it's "empty, rather than pry off the top I just squeeze the top center really hard with my thumbs to get the last two clicks out.

Standard protocol given for me is 2 clicks (100mg) am, 1 click (50mg) pm, applied to bottom of biceps. Absorption is enhanced to successful levels by using Neutrogena Deep Clean facial cleanser to break down skin barrier and very warm water compress before application.

Over 5 years of clomid usage, my protocol ranged from 50mg 3x/wk down to 12.5mg E3D, so quite a range. Total T was always 600-900, Free T was always low, SHBG always high, subjective measures were always disappointing. The only "success" I could claim was good Total T.

Easy. You need a common definition of success. If success is defined as increasing Total T, then lots of success occurs. If success is defined according to other markers such as libido or erection quality, then less success.

Clomid raised my Total T and my SHBG. No sexual function improvement.

Just google PCOS. Look in particular at endocrineweb.com for an extensive evaluation list. My wife has high T as well, not PCOS, not transference as best we can tell, ultrasound shows no cysts, CAT scan shows no adrenal tumor. So far no clear answer.
