While I appreciate the assessment and logic, what I am hearing here is that the idea of no harm from Testosterone therapy (secondary erythrocytosis) comes from the reasoning that no evidence of harm equates as evidence of no harm. These are not the same.
I look forward theoretically to the day...
Yes, but I have not been on daily T cyp at this low a dose. I am afraid I don't remember how much I was taking daily of just T cyp, but it was in the range of 10-12mg/day That put me supraphysiological on TT and moderately above normal range free T. I had E2 symptoms and water retention. At that...
I experience symptoms with HCT at 54, relieved by phlebotomy: Higher BP, reduced physical output with earlier onset of bounding heart, more fatigue and recovery time from exercise and a feeling of fullness in the chest. This has been repeatable many times over.
Are you recommending I ignore...
The size of the syringe is not pertinent. U-40 is U-40 when it comes to the markings on the syringe. Whether the syringe is .3ml or .5ml or 1ml, if the scale is graduated as U-40, a U-40 unit is still a U-40 unit.
From that web page: "NEVER dose U100 insulin using U40 syringes – you will be...
Thank you.
You have veterinary U=40 syringes. The standard for human use is U=100.
U=40 and U=100 are insulin concentrations. It seems that the markings on the syringes are different volumes per unit in order to easily draw the correct dose of INSULIN in units based on U=100 vs U=40...
This is incomprehensible.
What substance are you injecting/measuring?
What is the concentration of the substance, for example HCG iu/ ml, or Testosterone mg/ml?
What is the dose in mg or iu?
What kind of insulin syringe are you referring to? Can post a pic?
Thought you might like to see imaging. The top is pre-procedure MRI, and mapping the ablation zone.
Second and third are temperature and extent monitoring during ultrasound ablation. Last is post procedure with the dark zone showing effective ablation.
Pulled the catheter this morning, 10 days after TULSA-PRO. So far so good!
Glad to be done with the feeling of my urethra leading me around in life.
Tell you what, the best worst thing so far, erections. I have been having them nightly, so NO ED, Everything works!! But with a catheter in? Yow.
I think there is more to it.
Based on Cataceous' research and hypotheses, this newest set of labs is at theoretical trough. My previous labs on 8mg/day as noted above have shown (Just total T for simplicity, but free also varied accordingly):
Trough: 719 250-1100 ng/dL
Peak: 963 250-1100 ng/dL...
Follow up:
due to ongoing erytrocytosis I've continued lowering dose. The HCT is a complicated issue, most likely at this point testosterone is a minimal or non driving factor. I have other pertinent stuff going on, but lowered my dose anyway.
Now taking 4mg T cyp and 3mg T prop daily...
People live long and healthy eating varied diets, and people die young and sick eating varied diets.
Personally, I avoid processed manufactured foods, eat organic, wild caught, free range, etc. Beyond that, I know what works for me, and I don't care what you think about it, go judge someone...
Catheter removal did not go as planned, Couldn't urinate, so had to have one re-inserted.
Then had the second stage TULSA-PRO yesterday. After healing will have only about 10-20% of the gland left.
The report is it went as expected, and I should have a good recovery. The catheter is a pain...
I've used reliable for years. They are not a scam. Always a bit strange ordering experience, and have had two shipments not show up, but they resent and made good. They have been reliable for me. The thing is to order well before you need a refill, shipping can take a while..
First stage done, quite uncomfortable, but OK for the moment. doctor said the medial lobe was "really big", seemed significantly more than he expected even with prior MRI and yesterday's ultrasound imaging. Should be a good thing having it vaporized in terms of urinary flow. It sits right at the...
I agree that 47 is not a worry, not high enough to mandate phlebotomy,
i get symptomatic around 53, really feel it at 54, but I don't think though that waiting for symptoms to develop is a good plan. I try to keep it below 52, but my own case is messed up, complicated by things other than TRT...
A positive update today. Everything has been confirmed at today's appointment. Based on the problem areas being transition zone and medial lobe, not central or the marginal zones, the two ablation procedures should not injure the neurovascular bundle, and function of the bladder sphincter and...
The time is nigh.
My prostate story is a bit unique. I've had some degree of BPH since my 40s, but it's remained tolerable until more recent years. Had a real initial PSA scare, but for 4 years it has bounced around, and at no point were any markers indicative of agressive prostate cancer.
It...
Just curious, significant movement in HBG and HCT tends to take weeks to months, you should not see changes one day to the next. unless you alternate hydrated vs dehydrated days.I have to assume you are referring to changes over a longer time period.
To answer your actual question: I stop...
The math for the dose:
4:3 blend, 4 parts cyp to 3 parts prop (7 parts) by weight in mg
(When mixing, by volume it's 2:3 because cyp is 200mg/ml and prop is 100mg/ml.)
4:3 gives total of 7 parts for proportioning
Dose pure T weight 5.6g/day
4/7 * 5.6mg(pure T weight) = 3.2mg/.7 = 4.57mg...
Anecdotally, I support this view.
I started on 150, had problems of high T, and it was misery every time I reduced dose until new stable level. I am down to about 7.44mg/day (52mg/week) including ester weight (5.6mg/day, 39mg/week T sans ester weight). After losing weight from cancer and a...
