Thanks, Bernie!
My ED is starting to correct itself with TRT and prescribed low dose Cialis. I think it is more the T kicking in as I am coming into my 3rd week. I'm not sure why she suggested this test, but I think I'll pass on it. Thanks again!
She did that and a prostate exam and didn't notice anything. I think I'll skip the test as it seems to relate to fertility. I'm 57 and my kids are all teenagers, and we are not having anymore. I'm not sure why she is "recommending" this test. Thanks for your fast response!
My NP recommends I get a scrotum ultrasound. Has anyone here done this? Is it a routine test for hypogonadism? I'm secondary, so I don't think the issue is with my testes. I think I remember her mentioning something about varicose.. Anyway, she said it's up to me to do it or not.
My insurance...
Got em.. Pharmacist gave me 8 1ml vials and told me to discard the remaining test after every shot. I did my first injection and it was a nervous piece of cake. The only syringes they had in stock were 3CC @1/2" 25g so I only got a few. I'll have to look around for the Easy-Touch brand. 29g, 1/2...
Finally, after over 3 months, I got my script, after going through "prior authorization" now it's on order, waiting....................
Urologist prescribed me: for 1st. month 4 vials of Testosterone Cyp 200mg/ml Sdv 1ml to take 40mg twice per week. Check levels in 1 month and go from there...
Another newbie question :)
I spoke to my pharmacist and he claimed it takes him 3 days to a week and sometimes longer to get a testosterone prescription filled and he won't order it until he receives it.. wow... small pharmacy that I've used for years..
Anyway, when I receive my prescription, I...
Just returned from my Urology appt. No MRI ordered. It was recommended, but not required to have an ultrasound of my testicles to rule out varicose veins? I was prescribed .5 of tadalafiL daily.. or more before sexual activity. I will start Testosterone 80 mgs a week divided into two doses 40...
So my first Urology appt. is tomorrow... as @Systemlord stated: "Plan for the worst and hope for the best," if it goes bad, like they don't want to treat me, or they're clueless, what are the best clinic options in your opinions? I'm hoping to use insurance and that's why I'm starting where I...
Another question... I'm full of them :) .. Does age and/or symptoms have anything to do with the doctor ordering an MRI to rule out pituitary tumors? I've read somewhere that MRIs are more common in younger folks.. Just trying to manage my expectations for my upcoming appointment. Thanks all for...
Great advice, thank you. I'll report back on how things go.. I'm sure more testing is in order probably for E2, prolactin, tumor, thyroid, ect.. Hopefully, they can start my therapy while I'm awaiting those appts.. Takes forever lately to get seen and I'm sick of feeling this way. Not to mention...
Hello all, glad to find this discussion board! Looking forward to an education..
Some info and labs:
I'm pretty sure I've been battling with Low T for at least 5 years. My long time doctor (now retired) would never listen to me, or test me, for Low T and always blamed my beta blockers for my...
