Yeah, I agree.. too much too soon. My urologist put on 40mg test c twice per week with 5mg tadalafil daily. That did the trick for me. Now my wife is in hiding :)
Yep.. I use 80mg / week (inject 40mg Mon. & Thur). So I get 8 1ml vials per month and the pharmacist tells me to inject 40mg and throw that vial away as they are a SDV. He said it is a huge waste, but that is what they require him to do. I dunno.. it seems stupid! My insurance covers it so the...
Yes, I was on 5 grams of Creatine for about 6 months. My Creatinine went up, my GFR went down, and my Hematocrit went from 48 to 53. I'm guessing I didn't hydrate properly. I stopped the Creatine a few months ago. I have a blood test in February and will see what happens.
Just an FYI, I posted recently about some Semaglutide I received from Peptide Sciences that didn't work at all. Their customer service was NO help. I ordered some more from Recon Peptides and the batch was much better. When I order more, I am going to try NuScience Peptides. I'm hearing great...
I enjoy listening to him when I want to research a particular "supplement." But, he is tough to follow at times. His side effect profiles are always geared to "elite" bodybuilders (his clients), and I'm sure, their extreme dosing although he rarely mentions dosages.
Several months back, I posted about Semaglutide that I purchased from a few different sources. None of them worked. I've done the prescription one so I know what to expect. Gastrointestinal issues to say the least. Three different peptide sources equaled NADA! I've read a lot of these sources...
Sad to see such a wealth of knowledge go to waste. I've always enjoyed Readalot's posts no matter what profile he was using. But, if I was on my 3rd profile, I'd leave too. Maybe I've missed the offending posts?? I dunno. I have no idea how many folks get shown the door, but I feel like Readalot...
IMO, you definitely qualify for testosterone replacement with those numbers. Also concerning is your A1C, liver and kidney function tests. Are they related to low T? I'm not a DR. so I don't have answers.. Metabolic Syndrome?? Others with more experience will be along.
Good read...
I dunno.. Creatine is the only supplement I've added since last December and whammo, high hematocrit and lowered kidney function. Although, my kidneys have improved since stopping, I haven't been tested again yet for hematocrit. Like I said, I'll report back afterwards. I've been on 80mg / week...
I realize this is an older post... I am currently testing out the above hypothesis. My Hematocrit has always been around 46. After several months on Creatine @ 5grams / day, it has jumped to 51.8.. along with some kidney issues discussed in another thread. Since stopping creatine, my kidney...
I have normal kidney function. When I took creatine monohydrate for about 6-8 months it drove my creatinine up to 1.4 and my GFR down to 52. I discontinued creatine for 1 month, got retested and my kidney function returned to normal. My guess it was the creatine along with other meds /...
I've always had a little bit of gyno. It's bothered me, but I never really addressed it. Recently, going through my whole aortic valve replacement and associated left ventricle issues, my cardiologist prescribed me spironactone. After about 2 months, OH BOY! That really aggravated my gyno. He...
I've read somewhere that Oxandrolone can have an effect on lactic acid buildup in quads of cyclist (could be related to quads and hockey) and also painful pumps in the back while doing deadlifts. I'm sure someone with more info will chime in.
It is strange for me. My hematocrit has always been on the lower side as you can see. I haven't been adding any more Test or other goodies lately. Creatine is the only thing I added @ 5 grams per day. I stopped about a week ago and have another blood test coming up on the 11th. However, I think...
I think I'll message my NP and tell her I've been using Creatine. I haven't done that yet and it may change the tests I have scheduled in a couple of weeks. I'm pretty sure she plans on doing the same test we've already done.
Funny you mention that. Right below my test result it says this:
"This Cr-based equation underestimates GFR in patients with increased muscle mass. Order CYSTATIN C WITH GFR ESTIMATE, LAB4559, if additional evaluation of renal function is needed."
I messaged her about that and she responded...
So I had my first blood test and ECHO in reference to the TAVR. No ECHO results yet, but my BNP levels went from over 1000 down to 65. I'm pretty sure that's great news! I'll update again when I get my ECHO results.
Just a heads up and probably a bit of "Bro Science." I started taking 5 grams of creatine several months back. It was symptom and problem free and I got great results from it. However, in a recent blood test, my hematocrit went from 46 (where it's been for years) to 51, and my kidney function...
I tend to agree that you should find another PCP. My PCP heard my symptoms and ordered the 2 required tests without issue. They were low and she referred me to urology. Now I have annual blood tests, prostate exams, and scripts. At least ask your PCP to refer you to urology.
