Intermittent fasting is bs. Stop it. I manage my hunger with Greek yogurt or a handful of almonds/cashews and it helps. On TRT I’ve noticed I need more protein.
Sounds like your testosterone spiked giving you good results, then estrogen spiked creating your current issues. Probably want to switch over to a traditional TRT program with HCG as an ancillary.
I assume the testosterone. Maybe it’s blood flow or volume. Not sure, but it’s bigger both flaccid and hard. My spouse doesn’t know I’m on T and commented on it, so I know I’m not just imagining it. I told him it must be because I got clean and sober.
But my protocol works great for me...
I’ve tried every dose and schedule imaginable. Even just 100 iu two days in a row causes my back to break out in painful nodule cyst acne. Then I have to take an AI to offset. As it is now I take T, Deca, and Cabergoline.25 mg twice per week to control everything I’m on just fine.
As I...
I doubt your prolactin is causing this but you can try 300 mg of P5P supplement for a few weeks see if it does anything. It will only cost you $14 from Vitamin World to see.
Have you tried HCG? It works for most men. I personally have just given up on trying to restore my testicle size as HCG just causes too many side effects. TRT gave me a bigger penis, but shrunk my nuts, so I guess it’s a fair trade. If I try to get them back to size with HCG I get terrible...
My prolactin is elevated as well. Mine because I’m on Suboxone which is for opioid use disorder. Opioid and dopaminergic type drugs/medications raise prolactin. I use Cabergoline to lower my prolactin, others have success with P5P supplements.
When I started TRT my doc gave me 100 mg per week T, no AI and no HCG. After 6 months, about 80% of my issues were taken care of. I added HCG because my balls had shrunk so much. Originally, the were small chicken egg sized (large compared to most guys) down to almond in their shell sized...
The consensus seems to be that at worst VTE is slightly elevated for the first 6 months of testosterone therapy. Many other studies either show no risk or statistical irrelevance. What this study does not establish is if it is causation or correlation. Ie...what underlying health issues /...
ALT and AST are a brief snapshot. If you’re recovering from being sick they can easily be elevated. GST would be a truer long exposure snapshot of your liver health. That said, when I was still drinking alcohol my numbers were regularly elevated to that level or higher. My numbers are now...
The Deca has helped my tennis elbow immensely. I had to do two shots of cortisone at the beginning of the year. It wasn’t just affecting “listing heavy” it limited me from swimming, racket sports, working on the computer, and would shoot pain when picking up something as mundane as a gallon of...
For the life of me I do not understand some people. You don’t want to go on an SSRI because of “side effects”. When guys tell me this it usually means sexual side effects. Seriously?!? You’re worried about side effects as if they will disrupt your porn career and thrice daily romps. You...
Not only what Paul said above, but I don’t want to have sky high cholesterol / triglycerides or vastly elevated hemocrit. I’m 50 years old so don’t want to jeopardize my health at all. I’m sure I’m fine taking 250 mg per week short term but I’m verifying that fact via bloodwork.
Diabetics would prefer not to do injections either. Recovering addicts like myself would prefer not to take Suboxone either. People with other medical concerns would prefer not to take pills everyday too. You’re just like so many people I’ve met in recovery. They start feeling good and not...
Also, I did just get bloods drawn after being on Deca for 30 days. If my lipids or hemocrit get wonky I will stop immediately. I should have results back early next week. I’m 50 years old, and only started Deca to help with my joint issues, which it has. The added muscle mass and vascularity...
No negative side effects. Hasn’t effected mood or libido one way or the other. After my 4 week weigh in I’ve gained 7 lbs. I’m also more vascular. I clearly look bigger. My guess is that after my 10 week program / cycle is up I’ll be up 15 lbs. I’m watching my macros closely. My appetite...
I’ve read about 30% of people who try naltrexone have that same issue, unfortunately. It works wonders for that other 70%. I’ve gotten much better with meditation. I have an alarm set on my cell phone that prompts me to do a quick 5 to 10 minute meditation session during the day. Helps me...
Drinking alcohol to excess causes anxiety, much like a rebound headache after pain meds wear off. If you’re like me and a lot of others who have struggled with addiction and alcohol use/abuse, alcohol has been your “solution”. You need it after a long day or stressful day. It’s become a “go...
I know sleep studies are expensive, but self diagnosed sleep apnea and using a machine that may not really be helping you can be dangerous. Sleep apnea can and will kill you if not treated correctly. Be careful!
Have you tried drinking 6 oz to 8 oz of grapefruit juice daily? I drink 6 oz daily and it’s kept my hemocrit at or under 49.5. It lowered my hemocrit by 3.5 pts.
OP is a one post wonder. Looks like his desire to find help here is as scatterbrained / scattershot as his health regimens.
Who tries one shot of T, feels better for a week, then gives up? Weird.

Your free testosterone is only 1.4%. Many guys, like myself, don’t feel better until our testosterone is at or over 2% for at least a couple / few days per week. If you’re having symptoms, even though your free testosterone isn’t bad...
Until you have done a sleep study, you can’t self diagnose sleep apnea. It could be coincidence, allergies, a dry house, or one of the supplements drying you out. Don’t overthink everything. Stop the DIM and see what your sleep is like in a couple of weeks.
