Europeans use nmol/L instead of ng/dL

View attachment 50501
In Germany they use ng/ml. I checked my lab report before posting. Besides the common euro there are actually differences...

Lesson learned! (From Perplexity)

Different countries use varying units to measure testosterone blood levels:

  1. SI Units (nmol/L):
    • Used in the UK, Netherlands, and Scandinavian countries13
    • Measured in nanomoles per litre (nmol/L)25
  2. Conventional Units (ng/dL):
    • Used in the USA and Belgium13
    • Measured in nanograms per deciliter (ng/dL)2
  3. Other Units:
    • Some countries may use ng/mL8

Conversion

To convert between these units:

  • 1 nmol/L ≈ 28.8 ng/dL
  • 500 ng/dL ≈ 17.3 nmol/L13

Normal Ranges

Normal testosterone levels can vary, but common ranges include:

  • UK: 8.64 - 29 nmol/L
  • US: 270 - 1070 ng/dL4
It's important to note that "normal" ranges can differ between laboratories, countries, and studies45. Healthcare providers should consider individual factors and symptoms when interpreting testosterone levels, rather than relying solely on numerical cutoffs.

Make sure to get the units right. If it's ng/ml then it would be 450 ng/DL.
Hi , I tried doing the conversion for my thyroid hormones and t4 and t3 are low , TSH over 3 we know how slow it is .
I could start with 25 of levothyroxine ? And see if the mental fog disappears ?

We were talking about the testosterone value of 4.5. on your lab report is it nmol/L or ng/ml or something else?

That's T4. Not sure that's a good idea. Could try T3. Imo your thyroid values (t3,t4) are ok, however, I'm not an expert. My TSH was about 9 months ago around 4.3 then 3 months ago 2.5. ... that's me...

Yes I understand ,thank you...
The analysis I posted is complete with everything , I was hoping to get more comprehensive guidance for my thyroid , I am even more confused than before

On your lab report, is there SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin)? With that one can calculate your free testosterone.

Do you take any meds including hair loss products?

Next month I will do complete testosterone tests and I will let you know.
The only medication I take occasionally for sleep is Stillnox

For a natural athlete you are impressively huge, I assume it's you on your profile picture.
I am just good lights and a decent pose , I have been lifting weights since I was 13 years old and about ten years ago I tried a light cycle , since then I have not used anything ..maybe I am still benefiting from that cycle after so many years , but I am not sure .
I have good genetics for sure .
