Re-Ride
Hi! I'm thankful to all whose contributions make Excelmale a singularly indispensable resource.
Although historically fit from job and personal pursuits sports orthopedic injuries required physical therapy to rehab quads which had atrophied. I was disheartened when hard work yielded little result despite being fully compliant with Androgel at the time. My doc cited an underlying medical condition as the explanation. He was only partially correct. He had place me on TRT trans-dermal gel years before but had never discussed serum goals nor done any follow up assay. Years later I discovered it was case poorly managed trt that prevented me from re-building the quads. Additionally I began to decline in overall vigor and activity. None of the physicians who treated me in the pursuing years found the problem despite batteries of tests. Don't let this happen to you! Insist on a full endocrine work-up.
Recently I found an endocrinologist who began treating me with hCG monotherapy. From a baseline of 293 total T/88 free (off T) I achieved 697T in a matter of weeks. Now the issue will be to see if it is possible to maintain decent levels of natural T. Most who try hCG find that they must eventually return to TRT in one form or another. Interestingly, I've had periods of very good libido off TRT which I attribute to high T/free ratio even with low total T.
keep an eye on your height! I lost 2" from my prime height which is likely do to low T.
Stress can be a major factor in endocrine health. Who needs it? Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organizations are a parasitic plague wrecking havoc on countless American lives. No, it's not Motorcycle Clubs but the Insurance-Big pharma-nonprofit-government gang complex that deserves 35 to life.
Intentional misinformation promulgated by sideline manipulators has come to dominate our lives. The truth, if you are brave enough to tune out what passes for "news" from the mass media outlets can be empowering. We're making progress in health care reform but still have a long road ahead. Get informed, make your voice heard!
