Even though the TPO is not over the top, you still have some activity going on with the enzymes. Right out of the gate, you might be able to keep things in check with adequate selenium supplementation. Are you taking any selenium?

Also, can't remember if you're on a thyroid treatment protocol? If you have any info on that, and any other thyroid labs to see how it all looks would be great? Also, are you experiencing any of the autoimmune sides (fatigue, temp variances, excessively dry skin, etc.)?

Hey thanks for the reply.
Taking 100mcg of selenium daily and 2000 Iu D-3
TSH at 3.3, T-4 6.3,
Triiodothyronine,Free,Serum-3.5
Free T-4 1.07
Reverse T-3 is 14.3

By afternoon around 2:00 I start o go down hill fast with no energy for evening or nights.
Also noticed my blood pressure falling off from 100/58 to mid 90s/50s and sluggish.
Did not know until recently that this could be one of the signs of hypothyroidism.

Recently tried a bovine ndt but I felt worse.

Cortisol is next on my list.
My dhea-s is historically low or borderline.

ratbag I wonder about that as well. I have an Autoimmune problem with platelets and I am usually low.
Idiopathic thrombocytopenia of unknown origin.
Don't know if the two are related???

I appreciate all of the info as I am getting after this problem asap.
It has affected my total well being.
Also I would like to start back on TRT if I can get this worked out..

T4 is below midrange, total thyroid hormones produced isn't ideal. One thyroid panel isn't always enough to spot a thyroid misbehaving, sometimes you need to increase the frequency of testing to catch the thyroid red handed.

How does ferritin look?

Low ferritin or low cortisol prevent thyroid from getting in to your cells. Even if your not taking thyroid meds. TRT also needs adequate levels of ferritin and cortisol to work. So all you hormones need a decent level of ferritin and cortisol in order to function normally. If your low in one or both of those it's a cascading effect on all your hormones.

Exactly...all about the balance. Something a lot of doctors don't dig into. Push if you meet with resistance.

I was going to remark on the Ferritin and Iron with T3 getting in to the cells yes I think there's also a low iron situation that affects the T4>T3 conversion as well.

Beyond Testosterone Book by Nelson Vergel
Hey I greatly appreciate all of the information.
It is doubtful that my doc will treat me with
the current numbers still in the range.
Not sure I'll waste my time with them.
Will seek some other avenue though for sure.
Again many thanks as I am encouraged!!
